  • Making a universal HPM reader for everyone

    So that pretty much locks the issue, I wont share the source code and that's the reason why I made an .exe out of it (since with the source you could easily analyze the runs of everyone it's one foreach loop away from doing it and people could get toxic over it). I don't really see a way to solve the issue.

    I get why you would be concerned about security issues, tho since it's hosted on github you woulden't be the entity that have to answer from it.And since it only does local calculations with very restricted use input the security risk is low, yet you shoulden't take my words for it ^.^). As you know, I could be a evil hacker in disguise or something like that...


    But I get your point, it's too bad for the players who would have benefited from it. I guess that's life.

    dear diary today I've heard of a legend talking about the 1st barakas than ever walked the earth, legend says he know everything that ever were. If those rumors are true he must know what happended to my sister, who nobody remembers us and if somebody else has memories of another world. I'm so excited I know I wont be able to sleep tonight, I'll launch a great search as soon as I get my official rank to "major of the velika's army".

    dear diary with the recent attack of the argons on highwatch I will have to make a choice, either stay in the army and hope the matter calms down fast enough or leave it and become an ennemi of the velika's army.

    dear diary it turns out the argon's attack on highwatch was in fact a devan's attack. My division is no longer needed in the north-est. While I was in highwatch I've learned a little more about the 'first bornt barakas'. Every hundred years he has to watch for the seal of balder's tomb then he mysteriously disapear. He should come back in about 12 years, I'll mark this day on my calendar.

    dear diary the first bornt barakas was seen today again by many peoples coming out of baldera without altering the seel at all. While I'm can't help but feeling excited about this news I am a little surprise he's been seen so early before the day I expected him to show up, something very important must be going on.

    dear diary yesterday as I traveled to baldera I've interrogated a lot of people on the mysterious barakas sighting. Sadly it turns out it was a regular barakas who somehow ended up in baldera, I wonder how he did it without altering the seal. I've watched the seal myself and while I am not as good as my sister with magic I can say withtout a shadow of a doubt he diden't left any mark on the seal yet he left footprints in the zone where the time stoped millenias ago I'll need to find him, even if he's not the one I am looking for, such a strong individual must know some useful thing for my quest. Also I've rescued a castanic from kaiator from basilics. While she looked terrified and defenseless I can feel in her the same the same kind of innerstrenght that general warakas has, though I don't think she can get to his level.

    dear diary I've managed to get the official autorisation to look for the first bornt barakas but first I'll search for the one who crossed baldera

    dear diary the last 24h a lot of things happended. First, I've found the barakas that endeded up in baldera. she calls herself Mariecécile and she claims to have been reincarnated by some strange forces.


    When I asked her more details she told me more about the incantations she heard and I have no doubt my sisters played a part in her resurection. The song she heard, it was the sound of my sister.

    Why the hell is she resurecting random barakas but diden't sent any news for Shara's know how long. I also have met someone else with memories of the futur, we compared our memories and now I know for sure, everything I remember really DID happend. That lancer also remembers a figure that looks a lot like my sister and I can't help but wonder, did my sister knew of all that? and what is she planning for us?

    I've always been a pawn in her hands but I am afraid she's casually playing with the whole world.

    Fat magali

    "Tomorrow you will be sent to fronterra to get rid of the red raiders with the valkyion federation" this one sentence made Magali extatic, she's been trainning hard for years now and while she diden't minded doing little missions like escorting people from velika to chebika, arcadia or pora elinu she always wished she would be given a chance to show how strong she is.

    The next morning she and a little over two dozen other people coming from division 8 and 5 and the federation were all taking pegasus flight to the city of fronterra, a 4 hours trip on average and, as often with Mag, she coulden't wait for that long she had to do something, anything really. Pushed by the boredom she decided to introduce herself to her two castanic camarades around her : "Hey, have you ever been in fronterra before ?" she asked.

    "I have been there when I was just a kid, it was long ago tho I could only remember the weather was very hot and mom was scared I had caught a cold" replied the one on her left. Surprised by this information conflicting with her own superficial knowledge of fronterra, she asked :"I've always though it is a lot cooler than castanica, but, I've never been there myself" she admitted.

    "I was born and raised in kaiator, actually I've never even been to castanica my familly left the continent after the catastrophy" answered the castanic. Mag who's always adored and admired the godess of war was now full of question but the castanic on her right she had almost forgotten about replied saying :"It's a shame so many of us are now refuge, but it's great you have your familly with you"

    And just like that the 4 hours trip passed in the blink of an eye. As they landed in fronterra the smell of iron was in the air and the crys of citizens and raiders felt like they were coming from everywhere at once. After an hour or so almost every member of the valyion federation were dead and only 3 soldiers of velika remained. As she was slashing throu the ennemis rank, she saw from afar the castanic with runeglaive killing efforlessly every foe in her way with grace. That moment she felt weak, and if she diden't saw the other castanics she just met having trouble against the orkan soldiers she would have concluded she was the problem.

    A horn rang across the village, and the next second every orkan had fled. While Magali was exhausted and thanking kaia for her survival she heard the runeglaive wearing castanic saying :"Dont let them escape we're not done here" and she could only watch her following the trace of orkan. A day past, she burried the soldiers who died that day, ally and ennemi alike as she always heard that you should treat ennemi soldiers with as much respect as yours.As the rain now poored from the sky, crying with the citizen for the tragedy that stroked this land she told a little prayer.

    The castanic never came back, and the rain had washed every clue of the red raiders path. Someone from the army came with a letter, telling every survivor to come back 'orders of the general'. And just like that, she began to cry. Her newfound friend told her: "I know its hard, but we are soldiers now, think of all those lives we saved". She nodded, but she wasen't crying for that, death was always part of the job, and the death of someone she did not knew for more than a day was nothing to cry for.

    It wasen't tears of sadness, she felt like a burden, too weak to follow a random soldier. She had been training for years and yet she felt it was far from enough. In an instant that self hatred turned toward the one who tried to comfort her, but she was honorable enough to acknowledge her weakness. Her faults where her's alone and she did not had any right to blame anyone else for that.

    She looked at the sky and promised to herself, in the name of kaia that one day she will be strong enough to not let it ever happend again.

    I don't know why but, since the day I was bornt I always was a lot stronger than everyone I knew. at the age of 6 I learnt the way of the runeglaive and since, nobody ever could keep up with me.
    The day the exarchs of the federation came to town, the elders told me I had to join them and be part of their army as this was an opportunity to do a good usage of my gift. Knowing no better I followed him.

    I trained with people weaker than me until one day they sent me to a mission; An official of the federation came to make an announcement.
    :"Soldiers of velika's army, the red raiders are causing desolation to our great cities, we as member of the freed world have to put an end to this. This is the reason why tomorrow you will be sent to fronterra, to get rid of the red raiders with the valkyion federation". I thought I would fight for the greater good, how naive I was...

    After a long trip on a pegasus we landed in the midst of chaos, orkans were raiding, stealing food and water from the citizen. I anihilated them, stoke fear in their heart, as they were running away I followed until they entered a cave. I entered to see their full force, and I began cutting through them all, until I noticed something. Most of them had no weapon, some were crying, some standing sill with the eyes of someone who accepts his fate. I thought I was slaying some beast but then I realised I was the monster here. I stopped for a moment and heard crys and voices, some from orkans, some from other races. As I felt lost for the first time ever, I apologised and I heard a voice asking :"are you done here? will you let us live" a young castanic came toward me. She called herself Hennika and she told me everything, every dark truth behind the federation, the army, everyone who made a monster out of me.

    One of the elven living here told me the general of the army where the root cause of that all, and once again I blindly beleived. I flew back in velika with the firm will of slaying those generals.
    I decided to target the one they called 'Warakas the wise'. I waited near his house, ready to attack on sight. As the moon was high in the sky I saw his silouhette and knew it was my time.

    I jumped and stroke with all my might, but without making any unecessary move he blocked my strike, "I will take my revenge for all those you've slayed" I said while I attacked again and again until... disarmed me, making my weapon fly away and planting in the ground in front of me. As I thought I was dead his calm face suddenly looked angly as he shoot :"Take your weapon back, if that the full extend of your dreams and ideals ?". without thinking I took back my weapon and charged again. To this day I still can't understand how a so large creature can move so fast, so elegently. He was dodging everything, jumping around, something even on my glaive. As I reached my limits I planted my weapon in the ground, begging for the moon to bless me with power, I did not wanted to just die without even scratching my foe.

    I felt an immense strenght in me like I could crust whole continents, but I still coulden't hit him.Exhausted by the frustration of not hitting him, and angered by the fact he was just toying with me I shreiked at him :"Why are you not fighting back?" and the next instant I felt the pain of the punch of one of the general of velika in my belly and I fainted.


    I woke up in a bed that was way too large for a barakas. It had the perfum of blood and steel and I cannot say for sure it wasen't just my smell. As I looked around he came with a bowl of food, saying :"eat, you'll need it". I watched him and heard the roaring of an elin who had been in the room for so long her shadow left a trace on the wall.

    I trained with the general for weeks, but, I maybe because I feared his reaction I coulden't ask him why he did not killed me. One day my curiosity taking over my self preservation I asked:"why diden't you cut me down?"

    -without ever giving any hint of his thoughts he said "What kind of people would I be if I slayed lost children?"

    While I felt it was a way for me to escape this conversation and keep living like nothing happeneded, I asked again.
    -"Not everything is black or white my child and what I've seen in your eyes, what Iamb felt in you is not a corrupted heart but rather a lost mind. I beleive you no longer want to kill me anymore, do you? I also trust you had your reasons and that now you need some time to think about this world and your place in it." he said with a calm voice. Now wanting to escape that conversation, the abyss of my mind beeing scarier to me than my own end I asked, "who's Iamb".

    -"The little elin that watched over you in your sleep".

    And as the silence came back I pledge he would be the only one I'll trust from now on.

    Atlas

    I will tell you know about a creature who walked the earth since the begining of time itself.
    As time past he was known by many name, from 'the first bornt' to 'the barakas who brings life' but the only name he ever tought himself as is Atlas.

    The day Atlas was born they were only two other creatures, Arun and Shara. When they both went to sleep he decided to travel this young world.

    And so his journey began, he talked to every gods and no matter how good or evil they were he was always listening closely without judging. When the war of gods started, he and he alone was free to roam, the greatest evil as well as the kind heros never wished him any harm.

    He would heal any wounded creature that crossed his way no matter how small or big, and while doing so he was always reading a book.

    after a billion years past he had seen everyplace, read every single book, knew every single language, and yet he was still blushing at the sight of a flower blooming. While he has been living for a time so long no word exists to express his age, he never grew bored of it all. All the words of love, hatered, madness, sadness, he would listen to it in silence for hours on as he saw everyone as his friend.

    When the son of Elinu Balder came to him with a request Atlas nodded quietly. "I cannot keep peace forever and I hear the dirge calling for my name, my dear friend will you take my burden and protect the world when I am no more?"

    as he said this words Balder turned his head toward atlas, after he silently agreed the god of the sun told his last words to him :"When I'll lie beneth the ground will you come and visit me from times to times and tell me how the world is going?".And, for the first time in eons the blind god heard the voice of the elder barakas saying. "Fear not, for I shall darken your threshold, to whisper in your ear thy melancholy tale of how thy world unfolds in its never ending progression". And the god smiled to him knowing full well he has been blessed that day.

    As the god's war ended he walked the earth like a barakas. He soon was known to them all, he appeared in some legends and while the time lost his almost every single one of his names, like it always does, the spirit of that first bornt barakas became the very image of what many of them aspired to be.

    One day, as he was roaming in highwatch to watch the double sunset, he found a creature he had never seen. An elin mage with butterfly wings and a deep piercing gaze singing poetry written by arun and shara.

    For a long time he stood still, listening to the chant crafted by titans and sang by a godess with elin face he never heard of with a sorcerer disc that managed to look older than him on which the name 'Lolimagie' was carved .

    "I can feel you listening to my song, and it's quite rude to stare at me without saying a word" she said with a smile so big the barakas felt like he was watching a third sunset. "I did not intend to be discourteous, yet your melody was so enchanting that I found myself rendered mute, compelled to listen in rapt, reverent silence" he said with a trembling voice hinting at the explosion of feeling in his heart.

    -"Tell me what is the name of my new found barakas fan"
    -"Thy name I bear is Atlas" he said.
    -"What is the first bornt doing here ?" she wishpered to him
    -"I ventured to witness the splendor of two sunsets descending upon the valley, yet it appears I have stumbled upon a third, unforeseen marvel." he replied after the shiver caused by the word he just heard before adding "How hast thou heard of me? I am but certain I would have stored thy lovely sight of you in my memory, had our paths ever crossed".
    -"I know my dear barakas, you always remember me, in every world I go, I know you will be there for me, it might even be the only thing I'm always sure of". As those words escaped her mouth she walked toward him
    - "Do you hail from a wholly different realm? If so, what purpose propels you here, and why do you linger in this place?" he asked his heart now filled with love as much as questions.
    - "I come from a world that ended, whenever the world is about to end I jump to another one. Someday thought, I will find a way to protect a world" she revealed.

    - "What force shall herald the world's end? And what actions will you take should tranquility once again embrace the earth?" he uttured
    - "I had this conversation with you a thousand times, yet I always loved it. There's a deity you have never seen. your creator, the one who made arun, shara and... you. She always sleep for a little over 10 billion years, and then she eats the very world she made. I wish I could just live in your little house near velika's unexplored lands, but I can't just stand there knowing what will happend."
    - "What measures can we undertake to avert this catastrophe? Is there any glimmer of hope to be found?" he said with a voiced marked by a tone of surprise and anxiety he never heard before.

    - "We have to find the strongest people of this world, people blessed with the ancient power that created this very reality. for the moment I have only found a lancer and my sister and you to fight for the world, but I know they are others, I can feel it; This world is full of potential. I can even feel two blessed people are living in highwatch now, I'll have to forge a path for them".

    she suddendly dropped her smile and for an instant you could feel the pain and regrets of a million world destroyed as she added : "I'll have to sacrifice their peace, or else they'll live a long undisturbed life here until it is too late..." Her words echoed in the wind that now blew as the twilight let the night take over.

    -When the wind stoped he looked deep inside his heart and as they where now bathing in the raising moon's light he told the words he told her again and again and gave her hope yet another time : "Allow me to aid you in your quest; though uncertain of the means at my disposal, I shall strive with all my might for the greater good, and to honor a vow I made to a deity eons past and that I make to you this very moment".

    And once again by hearing those words she found hopes she believed lost.

    - Entity 781227



    We've conduct many experiment on the the elins corrupted by the argon and after years of hard work the cure worked... but only on a signe individual. While she no longer has any visible argon traits her face has been deformed in ways so extrem she hardly looks like an elin anymore. Her mental capacity where also affected to the point that she can only remember 4 words at once. She has more or less the IQ of a pug and somehow her sense are also very dog like; She is almost blind but has a very strong sense of smell. On the other hand her physical capacity looks unaffected aside from the fact she dosen't need to eat nor to sleep probably due to the argon's dna.

    After some experiments we found out she also has got one really special trait: she seems to react to any hostile presence within a certain range and will come out of her way to fight it to the very end no matter the size.

    We've made her fight against an automatic training machine borrowed from velika's army supplies just to see how long it would take until she stopped or fainted. She fought it during 3 months straight and if we did not had a power outage I'm sure she would still be fighting it. Somehow with her bare hands she managed to seriously damaged the machine. We've tested her skin and bones but they looks exactly like the ones of normal healthy elin. Her stamina could be a great plus in many tasks, and while it's sad she diden't recovered the mind she had before the argon's attack if the cure can create more elins with infinite stamina we could make our army a lot stronger.

    We've contact Velika's army regarding her, for we think they would share our views on her.
    The general warakas himself came and took her under, weirdly enough she rushed to him as soon as she felt him coming breaking the door of her room (the door wasen't locked to be precise).
    She always was neutral to us but she looked very happy when he entered, like they are somehow linked for unknown reasons. I've heard a lot of things on the general warakas but I diden't expected him to be genuinly so nice to what is essentially a weapon with elin like face.

    She followed him with a smile he did not even had to say a word. I am not really sure of why, a collegue of mine said he must have a natural leadership, another said he heard the general was a father like figure to some of his soldiers and she must have sensed that.

    Anyway we will keep on searching for the cure until the argon disease is but a distant memory.

    Seren I've finished my mission in kaiator, the devan's general is no more. For that occasion I've been blessed by kaia and I became one of her 'sword'. I'll come back in velika soon.

    - To Arin

    Your highness, my mission in kaiator is done, your informant was very helpful.


    kaia told me some strange words before I left kaiator :"A traitor lies in your rank". When I asked her who it was she told me I had to "look by myself for I'll discover a greater truth".
    I hate how godess can never be clear when adressing to us, why are they always so cryptic? I doubt the traitor is part of your direct subject, I'll investigate the velika's army first. I'll keep you informed


    - To Arin

    Your highness, After investigation the major 'bangbang' behavior looks highly suspicious. She has no tie to anyone, no past, no family, nothing, even I coulden't find her real name. She's been searching for a 'barakas that could bring life' (whatever that means) for a very long time. I don't know what she's up to I'll keep following her. She'll head to baldera by the halfmoon of the 3rd month.


    - To Rida

    Hello Rida, I have met one member of your 'secret order', she tried to attack me on my way to velika. While I dissaprove of her methods I must say I am surprised you have such a strong follower in your order. I've never seen a 'reaper' with a red aura before and I doubt anyone could get to that level by herself, was she blessed by our Godess? and if so why did she fought me? Anyway, rest assured your follower is safe. Next time someone from your "secret" order follows a member of velika's army warn me, or at least tell them to not attack unless she's forced to do so, I'd hate to hurt the followers of Arin's baby sister.

    Halfmoon of the 3rd month

    Your highness, I fear there's a traitor in velik's army. A certain Major bangbang of the 8th division may be involved in acts of betrayal against the elin and the federation.
    she recently seemed to be intrested by sighting of an "anormal barakas" around arcadia, she took a leave without any notice to her hierachi. I fear the reason she never wanted to be promoted is to stay under the radars, I investigated and found out nobody knows anything about her, not even where she does leave. It coulden't look more sketchy. I'll follow her around, if you cease to receive my letters consider I've died for the greater good of pora elinu.



    New moon of the 3rd month

    Your highness, I've followed this individual 'bangbang' (or whatever is her real name) around. She went by herself up to the seal of baldera in arcadia. Sadly she got interrupted by a castanic and her wyvern falling from the sky before I could prove any betrayal. Yet I can't help but feel there's something wrong with her. Maybe the castanic coming here wasen't an accident, but after following her around for a quater of a moon I don't think she is really dangerous. Somehow whenever I was following 'bangbang' I felt like she was the one monitoring me. I'll reach you again by next moon, if you cease to receive my letters consider I've died for the greater good of pora elinu.


    Full moon of the 6th month

    Your highness, I found out that somebody was spying on 'bangbang', an elin with eyes of purple. I was sure she was also spying on me and so I tried to ambush her.


    Never had I to fight such a great foe and I fear I've been outmatched. whoever that elin is she was able to move in an instant and threw daggers at the speed of light with unmatched accuraccy.
    As I fell on my knees I could see into her calm eyes of purple how weak I was. I thought I was dead and, to be honest I don't know why I am not. Did she found me so weak that I wasen't even worth killing? Am I not her ennemy?

    I've been rescued by a barakas with black clothes and a weird mute elin, tho to this day I am still unsure if it wasen't just a monster with elin traits. the barakas claimed he found me in a tree KO lying above blood thirsty hyenas.

    he said his child was once a healer and for that reason he "coulden't let me here" but he confessed my wounds diden't look fatal. I still don't know what to think of it, and anyway I'll be unable to to anything for quite some time. For the moment I am still living with this barakas and weird elin. I have the feeling they are somehow linked to 'bangbang' in some way or another. Maybe this barakas was the one she looked for after all.

    Pew pew

    Mom, dad, I will not be home for new moon this year.

    A lot happended on my way to Freeholds. Oh gosh I don't even know where to start.
    The wyvern I took at kaiator got attacked by some creatures near arcadia.

    I

    I managed to land safely with the wyvern and the merchandise but in a flash we got surrounded by some giant lizards like creatures. Oh you should have seen this, that was so scary, they were so big I thought this was the end of me. But as they were getting to arms reach suddendly they fell down after a big flash!

    You know those little creatures that lives in pora-elinu? It was one of them who saved me, oh I can't describe how frail and small she looked and how shocked I was that a thing so little was so lethal.

    Did you know they have guns that gets powered by will in their continent? Anyway, as I watched in awe she came to me and gave me some potions to heal my wounds, she was so nice with me she instantly felt like a sister to me. As luck would have it, she was heading to velika, she travelled with me all the way to that city!!! At first I diden't understood why I felt so safe wakling with her but she's so very powerfull yet humble and nice; it felt like I had a guardian angel watching over me, maybe even two!

    She told me that everyone calls her Bangbang, she's from velika's military, she's actually somewhat famous here! And talking about velika, you know how much I loved kaiator. But that city, it's something else. They are so much people living here and they all were so nice to me...

    Anyway major bangbang escorted me to the freeholds the customer was really happy but on the way back to arcadia I though about all that happended, it all felt like fate to me...
    oh gosh I don't know how to break it to you but, you know how I've always wanted to be helpful to as many people as possible?..

    Mom, dad I've joined velika's army under the order of Major bangbang. They gave me a bow and according to Major Bangbang I was really made for it. I was so good a trainee that she introduced me personnally to General Warakas and she said she had high hopes for me. He looks imposing and scary like all the barakas, but he's like a big black mashmallow! And he speaks so fancy he's like a book who know everything on every subject, he even knew of our traditions in kaiator !!!

    I am so glad everything happended the way it did but, I still had one regret, I'm sorry it took me so long to write a letter, you must've been really worried, I never found the time with everything that's going on right now. I'm a grown woman now and I feel It's time for me to find my own path. I promise I'll come visit soon, I may be a promising soldier but I'll always be your little pewpew.

    After an hour or so I landed on that earth that no barakas had ever walked and there lied a creature that I knew landed my its strenght.

    Without even having to murmur a thing I knew its name was Tempas the spirit of storms, and I knew that if such a creature decided to save me it was for a greater purpose than i could ever grasp.

    And so the creature trained me, decades past and soon millenia, in this word where time meant nothing I felt free, I felt I was where I was supposed to be.



    But in an instant my training was over, and my master told me a truth I could simply not ignore. I who sought the truth and knowledge in everything newer thought I could fell betrayed by it.
    The argon invasion was not real, It was the devans plan, they captured and raised argon for war, turning their own soldiers into those foes with body of blue. I knew I had to wake up from this world however peaceful it was, I owed it to my child marieCécile, to my loved one Uramo and to this world. Yet again I took my swords and came back to the cursed world that I was bornt in with thunder and wind still strong in my heart.

    Warakas the warrior of old

    - "I should have been like anyone, just a simple barakas, but sometimes fate forces itself onto you, and all you can do is draw your blades"

    Highwatch is the city that watched me grow and become a barakas, I remember in my youth how lousy of a fighter I was for I've always seeked the knowledge and the beauty of minds and hearts. Fearing that I may hurt with my words I never raised my hand on anyone and I grew as a peaceful librarian. I thought I'll have a long life full of books and love but, one day, one calm and uneventful day the argon decided to put an end to this.

    The blue of the sky in an instant took the shade of the argons and they decended on the earth to corrupt Highwatch my very own part of heaven. The guards were shouting, telling us that all non-figher has to lock themselves and everybody else had to take arms. My kindred soul, my lovely Uramo that I loved above all else and I rushed to our home, the smells of flower and hapiness soon was replaced with the odor of blood and ashes. I prayed that our child would be spared, hoping he inherited my aversion for violence and would flee far away where he would be safe.

    Every second the ticking of the clock made our hearts beat faster, until Uramo watching me so deep in my eyes that I knew he was really watching at my soul : "I'll go and retreive him".
    A billion words echoed in my mind in this very instant, and this may be why I stood in silence, all those words were blocked in my throat making it ache as much as my heart. I moved my lips and close my mouth the very next instant, and to not add the weight of my fear onto my beloved one's shoulder I said "OK".

    I gave him my old sword that I used to swing with my shaking hads back in my youth, matching the one he now held firmly in his right hand. The ones I loves, both standing still, with argonean eyes of blue that had nothing of their souls remaning. I raised a cry of the like a newborn makes to the world and I took the swords lying on the ground and, for an instant the world ceased to be, I was like the wind, striking everywhere yet untouchable I was one with the wind and thunder.

    After who knows how long, they was nothing living left here, not even a single blade of grass; I fell down hearing the echo my body made striking the pool of tears and blood I caused. And then I woke up in a place that looked like it was either heaven or hell


    Way up in the sky over the sea of creatures lied a sun of steel and earth. For some reason I felt like that "sun" was calling to me and I knew I had to explore that thing. As that thought came to me, so did a dragon.

    Hello everyone, Recently I've seen the diary made by Denroc and I thought: Hey why woulden't I make my characters have some lore,


    So I crafted a backstory for each of my characters, and I say to anyone who wants to join, feel free to add your own character backstory.

  • Making a universal HPM reader for everyone

    After a lot of testing and trolling around with the hpm reader I've made a rough estimation of classes dps compared to accuracy, and from that data I made extrapolation and estimated for BIS the dmg compared to accuraccy of classes on this server.

    As a reminder you should be able to reach around 100% accuraccy on anyboss that dosen't require you to stop dps (IE not lachelitas 2d boss, slayer etc) with a lancer in your group (unless you're a tank).

    Healers dps values comes from estimations compared to lancer's dps at bis and aren't really meaningful

    I made the calculation for 4 keypoints, F rank (10% accuraccy), C rank (50% accuraccy) ,A rank (80% accuracy), SS rank ( 100% accuraccy) making the accuraccy variation from what I've observed in players (Ie I've watched where C rankers lost their accuracy and used that to calculate a 50% accuraccy rather than just loosing 50% on the main spell as nobody plays like that).

    We can see that classes that has great out of burst dps benefits a lot from crystals as well as classes that has native high crit rate on main spells.

    As brawler hpms aren't good estimation I've calculated their position based on what I see on this server and what I saw on official server


    On official server on patch 100 class ranks in kr where (with BIS gear)

    ( Valk == war ) >> (ninja == zerk == reaper ) >= (sorc == gunner == archer) >> slayer ( slayer sucked back then xD )

    While I find it cool that slayer got a little buff and valk went from busted to 3rd place, wardps got stronger and we have now a cluster of classes that are just way below the main 3, the difference is bigger now between strongest classes and average classes than it was back on official servers


    When we consider that the top 3 classes also are classes able to dodge easely as they all have good mobility and survivability it feel a little weird that classes with less survivability are also just below dps wise when perfectly geared and played perfectly.


    I know balencing is hard but making the bad classes more viable could be a great way to bring more people as valk and warrior have been top tier in everyserver that used the leaked patch for a long time now. (Keep the buff on slayer tho, they need it)
